Native Desktop Builds Are Live (Mac, Windows, Linux)
We’ve officially pushed native desktop builds of Crash BASIC for:
- macOS
- Windows
- Linux
These builds run on the same Rust-powered core that drives the web version (via WebAssembly), but compiled natively for each platform for a more direct, desktop experience.
Are They Perfect?
Nope.
And we don’t expect them to be.
They’ve been tested across multiple environments and hardware configurations, but real-world usage always finds the edges. Different GPUs, drivers, window managers, OS versions — that’s where things get interesting.
If you run into anything odd — crashes, rendering glitches, input weirdness, performance anomalies — we want to know.
How to Report Issues
Please submit any bugs or issues through the Crash BASIC Arcade support ticket system. That keeps everything organized, trackable, and actionable.
The more detail you include (OS version, hardware, steps to reproduce, logs if available), the faster we can squash it.
Crash BASIC has always been about velocity and iteration. This is another step forward. We’ll keep refining, improving, and tightening things up as reports come in.
